Facilitation Style
My role as a facilitator is to enable empathetic problem-solving and drive innovation. I've been creating and leading design thinking sessions since 2018 and have experience facilitating these workshops for clients across various global industries creating a safe, open environment for people of all organizational levels to participate and explore digital challenges and solutions.
I've conducted workshops for anywhere from 5 to 150 people both in-person and virtually with a recipe of relevant activities including brainstorming, prioritization, ideation, and solutioning where each activity naturally flows to the next. After the workshop is conducted, I document and share back discoveries highlighting the most important findings and analysis.
Over 300 Hours facilitating & teaching workshops.
Guided 25+ Clients across 12+ Industries through workshops.
Brainstormed 1000+ potential business problem solutions.
30+ Solution Concepts moved into development.
Understand
Who?
Whether conducted prior to the workshop or during, gathering information and understanding about who the users are and the industry they're in is always my preferred place to start.

What?
I gather, organize, and prioritize information from users about current processes identifying emerging themes where the user's pain points exist. This is a great starting point for us to define the problem statement of the workshop.

Ideate & Prototype
The sky's the limit!
Together, we brainstorm crazy, creative ideas. I encourage participants to break away from conventional thinking by challenging them to see things from a fresh, completely different perspective leading the way for breakthrough ideas.
What works?
Prioritizing the brainstormed solutions provides us with the opportunity to converge on a feasible solution. Sometimes we organize the ideas by feasibility, business impact, cost, time, etc. By narrowing the potential solution, we are able to design and test potential prototypes with users to ensure our solution is ultimately improving the lives of our users.

Learnings
Not all workshops go as planned. I've been in situations where technology wasn't working, last-minute changes to participant lists were made, location changes, etc. I've learned to course correct quickly and pivot seamlessly when conducting design thinking workshops with the ability to think on my feet to ensure that the outcome of the workshop matches the client's needs.
